Nishat: is garden of pleasure 11 km from Srinagar and was built in 1634 by Asif Khan, the brother of Noor Jahan. The garden has 7 terraces and a stone channel for running water in the center. Garden offers spectacle view of the Dal lake and Zabarwan hills.

Shalimar: Garden of love. 15 km away from Srinagar was built by Emperor Jahangir for his wife Noor Jahan in 1616 AD. The garden has attractive Mughal structure carved from black marble.

Chasma shahi: the royal springs 9 km from city situated on the foot hills of Zabarwan ranges, the garden has a spring known for its medicinal properties.

Shankar Achariya: The temple 5 km from Nehru Park stands a top Takht-i- Sulaimani (Seat of Solomon) 1100 ft. legend describes the building of temple by King Solomon in 3000 BC. The thought describes the temple was originally built by Juluka Ashoka’s son around 200BC.

Rauzabal: “The sacred tomb of Jesus PBUH” located in the heart of old city Khanyar.The Tomb of Hazrat “Yuzu Ashaph” which in Hebrew indicates Yuzu as Jesus and Ashaph as the gatherer. It is believed that Jesus arrived in the valley from Palastine after resurrection, in quest of the lost Israel.

Hazratbal Shrine: As history shows that the Holy Relic, Moi-e-Muqadas was placed at Hazratbal Shrine during the reign of Emperor Aurangzeb around 1699 AD when Fazil Khan was the governor of Kashmir. The shrine was originally built in 1634. It is believed that the Holy Relic passed on from the decedent of PBUH.

Besides these there are so many historical places and monuments around the Srinagar city.Botanical garden, Pari Mahal, Harwan Garden, Dhachigam-the wildlife sanctuary, Zabarwan park, Pampore famous for magnificent saffron fields Budshsh Tomb, Burzahama, Parihaspora, SPS museum, Shah-i-Hamdan mosque, Pather Masjid and world famous Tulip Garden.
