Day 1
Pick up at Srinagar airport transfer to the Hotel/ Houseboat & have some refreshments. Then it's time to board a Shikara Boat (Sight seeing Boat) on Dalake there you will visit Nehru Park,Open lake, Kubatar khana, Char Chinar,the floating Gardens & vegetable market . Over night stay at a deluxe hotel / houseboat.
Day 2
After breakfast visit Nishat garden, Shalimar garden, Chashma Shahi , Botanical garden, Hazratbal shrine & the Old city. Late in the evening return back to hotel/house boat.
Day 3
After breakfast head to Gulmarg, this is at an altitude of 2730 mtrs above Sea level.
Gulmarg means of flowers which has a spectacular view due to natural beauty of flowers like bluebells, daises & large variety of flora. Treking ,horse riding & buggy ride in Gulmarg is a enjoyable experience.Gulmarg is also the country's premier winter sports resorts. Skiing at Gulmarg had become very popular during the pre -independence years. It has some of the best slopes for skier .Gulmarg is also a golfers paradise. Enjoy Gondola (ropeway) ride. At present Gondola goes upto Kongdori at a height of 10,200 feet & it's world's highest trolley & Asia's longest. Over night stay at deluxe hotel.
Day 4
After breakfast Departure for Pahalgam and arrive at the Valley of shepherds ,which is located at an altitude of (2743) mtrs, above sea level .It's surrounded by 12 high snow capped peaks. Mamal one of the eight tiny villages of Pahalgham has a 5th century Shiva temple. Chandanwari 2895m, is 16 km from Pahalgam is the starting point for the annual Amaranth ji Yatra is held . Over night stay at deluxe hotel.
Day 5
After breakfast visit Manasbal Lake. It is situated at a distance of 32 kms, nort-west side of Srinagar city at an altitude of 1,500 m. The lake is 1 km. x 0.5 km. at the foot of Small Mountain. Lake’s water is deep blue, was very dear to Rosanara, daughter of emperor Shahjahan. The remains of Daroga Bagh still reminds the past. The lake is famous for its lotus blossoms in the summer & migratory birds in the winter. Return back to Srinagar. Over night stay at a hotel.
Day 6
After breakfast visit Manasbal Lake It is situated at a distance of 32 kms, nort-west side of Srinagar city at an altitude of 1,500 m. The lake is 1 km. x 0.5 km. at the foot of Small Mountain. Over night stay hotel (3Star) (if customer wishes can be shifted to super deluxe house boat in Nagin Lake).
Day 7
After breakfast visit Parimahal, Shankarachariya temple, Museum Rajbagh & Nagin Lake.Evening free for shopping. Return back to deluxe house boat.
Day 8
Early morning leave for Ladakh. Your first destination is kargil. Kargil is inhabited by people known as Purig-pa. The word Purig is derived from Pod-rigs which means Tibetian like. After taking lunch visitors are free to visit local market and glimpses of Kargil Town. Over night stay at a hotel.
Day 9
After taking breakfast, the journey proceeds towards Leh. A historic town that served as the royal capital of the Old Kingdom, Leh boasts of a nine-storey palace built by King Singge Namgyal in 17th Century. It is a miniature replica of Potala Palace in Lhasa. The ruins of Leh palace overlooks the entire city of Leh and Indus valley and signifies Ladakhs rich heritage. The places to visit in Leh are Tsemo Gompa, Sabu, Sankar Gompa, Shanti Stupa, Jamia Masjid. Most captivating feature of Ladakh is the Buddhist Monasteries (Gompas), situated at high points over cliff sides, ridges and sprawled in every vicinity signifying faith and holiness. Over night stay at a hotel.
Day 10
Return to Srinagar.
